For our Sixth Symposium of the Ukrainian and European Psychotherapy Alliance we are exploring the vital theme of women in the time of war. We are delighted to be joined and supported by the Danish Council for Psychotherapy for this Sixth Symposium.

Our Sixth Symposium includes a Sociodrama, which will be conducted by two experts in the field of Sociodrama in Ukraine – Anastasia Sklyaruk and Olena Stupak. 

UUAP AND EAP ALLIANCE

In October 2022, at the invitation of the then President of EAP Patricia Hunt FRSA, senior members of the Executive of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) started to meet regularly with senior members of the Ukrainian Umbrella Association of Psychotherapy (UUAP).  The aim was, and still is, to provide support to Ukrainian Psychotherapists in this terrible time of war.  When EAP asked “What help can we give you?”, the answer was “Please help us to organise Symposiums for Ukrainian Psychotherapists to support them in their work during the war”.

FIFTH SYMPOSIUM

Mr. Oleksandr Korniyenko, First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Mr. Cristian-Silviu Busoi, member of the European Parliament, had decided to give official patronage of the UUAP and EAP Fifth Joint Symposium, that was held on Friday June 14th 2024.
